Dr. Tanya Spencer is a clinical psychologist and a Senior
Associate with ARCH Psychological Services. She specializes
in assessing children and youth and consulting with families,
schools, allied professionals, and treatment facilities. Dr.
Spencer is a faculty member at Lakehead University and a
clinical supervisor for psychologists completing their clinical
internships at ARCH.
She uses best practices and a cognitive-behavioural orientation to provide thorough assessment, leading to
practical solutions and workable strategies to improve relationships and quality of life.
Areas of particular interest include learning problems, parenting and attachment, the fetal alcohol and autism
spectrums, psychopharmacology, and mood disorders. Her background includes work in residential treatment
and rural/remote communities.
