·         July 2003 – Provincial Court (Criminal Division) – closure of court room in an adult criminal trial to protect accused – history of child sexual abuse

·         July 2003 – Provincial Court (Criminal Division) – not criminally responsible due to mental disorder – PTSD

·         September 2003 – Court of Queen’s Bench – plaintiff’s psychological capacity to undergo a defence medical examination and examination for discovery, risk assessment

Appointed by the Minister of Health and Wellness this committee to develop a comprehensive provincial mental health plan for Alberta. The steering committee developed a funding, accountability, service model, human resource and research framework for mental health services in Alberta. Representatives include Regional Health Authorities, Alberta Medical Association, Alberta Mental Health Board and the AAMIMH representing consumer and professional perspectives. Education for the Gifted Society of Alberta                                                                                          

Society operating Canada’s first Charter Public School under an agreement with the Alberta Minister of Learning. In accordance with the School Act regulations the Board of Directors of the society serve as the School Board for New Horizons School in Strathcona County. The school offers an innovative educational program for talented and gifted children in grades K - 9.

Red Deer Suicide Prevention Services                                                                                                  

Community interagency program providing education, suicide prevention training and co-ordinating regional suicide intervention and post-intervention programs,

Community based society promoting the development of programs and initiatives for children, including programs aimed at alleviating the impacts of poverty, and outreach to "at-risk" children and families.

Family - School Wellness Program Management Board                                                                          

School-based children's mental health program providing outreach, case co-ordination and crisis intervention services to elementary and secondary school students.

o        Appointed Chief Examiner and Chair of the Heraldic Education Committee of the RHSC, November 2004. The RHSC offers basic and advanced heraldic proficiency certificates by examination and a Licentiate certification (LRHSC) by thesis.

o        President (2004-2005), and Vice-President, Heraldic Design (2003-2004) of the International Association of Amateur Heralds;

o        American Academy for the Promotion of Genealogical and Heraldic Studies – member and officer (2002-2004);

o        inducted into the Royal Brotherhood of St. Michael of the Wing (Real Irmandade de Sao Miguel da Ala) and recipient of the Order of St. Michael of the Wing in the grade of Knight (Cavaliero Honorario) from the Portuguese Royal Family;

o        member and regional representative of the Związek Szlachty Polskiej (Confederation of the Polish Nobility);
