PRESENT POSITION: Private Practice, ARCH Psychological Services, 1987 - present This is a general practice in clinical and consulting psychology. We receive referrals from lawyers, doctors, ministers, social workers, employee assistance programs and through client recommendation. We provide a full range of psychological services including assessment, individual/relationship and family therapy, program consultation and educational services. We have developed specialized expertise in working with child sexual abuse, custody disputes, forensic populations, civil litigation, community corrections, Aboriginal people, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, family conflict, adolescent problems and physical/mental health disorders. We believe in treating individuals and families in a holistic manner which is respectful of the individual and fosters the individual's potential for growth and development. For the past six years we have participated with NECHI Institute in assisting four Aboriginal communities to develop a comprehensive integrated community sexual abuse intervention and healing program through funding by the Aboriginal Healing Foundation. We also provided 3 day healing workshops for Residential School survivors and their families.
PAST POSITIONS: Assistant Director, Forensic Assessment and Community Services, Alberta Hospital Edmonton, 1981-1988 This position included responsibility for development and administration of multidisciplinary therapy programs for offenders and their families in Edmonton and Northern Alberta, direct supervision of professional and public education programs, extensive clinical intervention with sexual or violent offenders and their families and administrative responsibility for coordination of services with government and private organizations.
